RULES FOR VISITORS

As with other F1 events, Las Vegas Grand Prix visitors must abide by the rules set by the organisers. Below you will find a basic overview of them.

WHAT CAN'T YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

Items that can be used to damage or deface property - or any part of the circuit and its surroundings - as well as obstructions, hindrances or interruptions to the race, affecting public safety, as well as any merchandise or tickets for commercial distribution and any dangerous items, are prohibited by law.
Anyone entering the entertainment area will be subject to a check/search.
Refusal may result in not being admitted without a refund. Please note that certain items are not allowed to be brought into the entertainment area.

The list of prohibited items includes, but is not limited to:

  • Animals except for registered service animals
  • Any item deemed dangerous by the promoter
  • Aerosols, combustible materials liquids or other chemicals
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Bags that violate the Promoter’s Bag Policy
  • Bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, scooters, segways, strollers or hoverboards
  • Barts or wagons
  • Bottles, cans, glass or metal vessels (including empty/refillable bottles)
  • Camera accessories- selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, go-pro mounts or attachments.
  • Collapsible or non-collapsible chairs or stools
  • Clothing, headgear or accessories that conceal a guest’s entire head or face, including full face paint and costumes/helmets with face masks (medical face masks covering the nose and mouth used to protect from the transmission of disease, such as COVID-19, are permitted)
  • Drones or remote-controlled or other unmanned aerial devices/vehicles
  • Flags, banners, clothing, and accessories bearing offensive/derogatory slogans or messages
  • Hydration packs of any kind
  • Outside food or beverage of any kind
  • Illegal substances, drugs of any kind (including marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and powdered alcohol) or paraphernalia
  • Fireworks, smoke canisters, air horns, vuvuzelas, whistles, or flares
  • Lasers or laser pointers
  • Projectiles
  • Phone jammers, radio scanners or two-way radios
  • Musical instruments or sound devices including bells, whistles, noise makers or megaphones
  • Laptops or tablets, personal computers, or two-way radios
  • Professional film, photo, sound or other audio/video recording equipment (other than personal cell phones). Professional cameras are any cameras with a detachable lens which includes DSLRs.
  • Flag sticks or poles over 3 ft (90 cm) in length
  • Unapproved advertising or promotional materials such as flyers, folders, banners, samples or stickers
  • Umbrellas, canopies, tents or parasols
  • Ladders, stepladders, scaffolding or platforms
  • Foam, hard-sided or soft-sided coolers or ice chests
  • Hard case containers (e.g., briefcases)
  • Inflatable objects (e.g., beach balls, balloons, “clappers”)
  • Magic markers/sharpies
  • Items restricted by local, state or federal law
  • Items that could in the opinion of the Promoter be used to sabotage or damage property or interfere with the event/race or the audio/visual broadcast or recording of the game or any technology-related services provided by the promoter at the event
  • An item that in the opinion of the promoter has the potential to cause injury to a person, cause a public nuisance, or violate the promoter’s fan Code of Conduct or other policies (e.g., Promoter’s bag policy) published elsewhere on the promoter’s website
  • Weapons, dangerous or hazardous items of any kind including knives, bladed items, firearms, ammunition, or personal protection sprays

WHAT CAN YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

We generally recommend visitors of F1 races to pack light and take only the essentials - money, phone, spare battery for their camera, etc. There is a wide range of food and drinks available at the race circuit, of course, don't forget your ticket for each specific day and valid ID for yourself and your children.

Promoter’s Bag Policy Guidelines: 

  • Tote Bags or Backpacks: Must be transparent and no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”.
  • Small Handbags or Fanny Packs: Non-transparent bags are allowed, but they must not exceed 6” x 9”.
  • Diaper Bags: Allowed only when accompanied by an infant; all diaper bags are subject to search.
